Privacy

- No accounts, no cookies of our own. We don't ask who you are, and nothing is saved in your browser.
- Your name and message are public in your ring. Others dancing the same garba style see them while you're there.
- We don't store them. They exist only while your page is open, then they're gone.
- Music comes from YouTube and fonts from Google, so those companies see that you visited.
What you share with other dancers
When you open the garba ground, your page connects to the ring for the garba style you've picked (Be Taali, Sanedo and so on). These details are sent to our server and shown to everyone in that ring:
- the name and message you type in your avatar card (both optional),
- your outfit and whether you're on the garba ground or at Khau Galli,
- when you clap.
Please don't put personal details like your phone number or address in your name or message. We mask offensive words automatically, limit how often details can change, and limit each ring to 60 dancers.
What we keep
Nothing about you. Your details are held in memory only while your page is connected. When you close the page or switch garba style, they're dropped. We don't write them to a database, and we don't keep logs of them. A random code identifies your connection while you're there, and it isn't linked to you.
The “in the raas” and “watching” numbers are a live count of open pages. Nothing else is recorded to make them.
Because nothing is stored, there's nothing for us to look up, export or delete about you afterwards.

We don't sell or share anything with advertisers. The ad boards in the venue are pictures; they don't track you.
Children
Garbaverse is for a general audience. Because names and messages are visible to others, younger children should use it with a parent or guardian.
